Captain Scarlet is a Gerry Anderson production along with U.F.O. . The story revolves round Astronauts destroying a Mysteron installation on Mars who then declare war on Earth. They kill Captain's Scarlet, Brown and Black but bring them all back to life. During an attempt to kidnap the President of the World, Scarlet has a fall which causes his lost personality to come back and return to Earths side. Brown was killed in a suicide attempt at killing the World President. Captain Black however does not take part in the first operation and continues to be a thorn in Spectrum's side.
Spectrum is based in a massive aircraft that circles the planet. The Angels, a group of five fighter pilots led by Destiny Angel provide immediate defence against invaders.
The original series used puppets but the new series which started being made in Feb 2005 is all computer generated. The character pictures on the people profiles are from the original series. After the series ended, Anderson went onto produce U.F.O. .
