| Along with 'When the Earth stood still', the original film is one of the most famous science fiction films produced. The story 'Body Snatchers' was written by Jack Finney in 1955 at a type of hysteria about the rise of Communism in Russia. Real life events had affected how he saw things to which you can see in the film. The book has been made into a film three times, 1956, 1978 and 1993. Each story changes slightly from the previous although the key thing between all the films is there. |
